BEST IN PRACTICE

The aim and ambition of the Academy is to comprehensively prepare our students for independent osteopathic practice. Therefore, the teaching activities of the Academy are carried out on the basis of the Academy of Osteopathy Proprietary Curriculum developed by osteopathy specialists.

According to its assumptions, the practical classes harmoniously complement the theoretical knowledge. In addition, the Academy offers our students the opportunity to confront theoretical knowledge with practical skills obtained during workshops at the Osteopathy Academy Clinic.

KNOWLEDGE SUPPORTED BY EXPERIENCE

During the training, participants gain knowledge in the field of osteopathic medicine and improve their skills in practice. The Academy's curriculum is carried out during three-day seminars. Additionally, in line with the osteopathic concept, practical classes integrating all courses are held at the end of each academic year.

The strength and pride of our Academy are the Academy Assistants – international lecturers and osteopathy specialists. Their qualifications and experience provide invaluable help and inspiration for future specialists in the field of osteopathy.

The Academy of Osteopathy Clinic

WE CARE ABOUT GOOD PRACTICES

That is why we have created the Academy of Osteopathy Clinic – a place where students improve their skills under the supervision of experienced osteopaths, and patients can benefit from a consultation. During classes at the Clinic, participants work with a patient in groups consisting of several students. Each consultation is supervised by an expert osteopath who supports the participants in their individual practice.

HOW DO THE STUDENTS BENEFIT?

  • improvement of practical skills under the supervision of an expert
  • proper mindset when working with a patient
  • confronting the knowledge gained during the classes with real work experience
  • the ability to deviate from the schematic treatment, a comprehensive view of the problem
  • the ability to conduct an effective interview with a patient and to establish an appropriate treatment method

An additional advantage of the Clinic is spreading patients' awareness of osteopathic medicine.
